About Me

My photo
Style Destino is my personal style space bout cruelty-free and vegetarian style. Fashion is not above someone's life and it is irresponsible when someone makes a fashion choice that involves taking a poor animal's life. I believe in style that has a conscience. We are in 21st century where technology has advanced immensely, there are myriad options available and any person with a desire can make things happen. So it is sheer selfishness and irresponsible behaviour when people make unethical fashion choices. Through StyleDestino I share everything cruelty-free and ethical in my style. I do not use any handbags, shoes or accessories made from leather (animal skin), the make-up I use is also vegetarian and cruelty free. Luxury and compassion can coexist stylishly and Style Destino is an attempt to prove just that. Vegan fashion is not about dowdy clothes, cheap bags, or tawdry shoes. I can just easily be vegan and trot in my Olsen heels, sporting a Stella McCartney luxurious vegan handbag while showing off my red lips painted with OCC lip tar!! I travel the world around and never find dearth of stylish, high quality vegetarian fashion.

New Buy: Online Shoe Shopping

This is not just a box!!!!!

Lipsy Shoes(buy from here, no more available on Lipsy)

For a long time I have been obsessing over these leopard print shoes (I've been looking for a nice pair of pumps for the longest of time). So it was only a matter of time that I gave in and finally ordered these online from http://www.javari.co.uk/ (yes from UK) on 10 April (despite the fact that if they didn't fit right I would probably not be able to return them. Now I must warn you I am quite a, calculated, risk taker).

Holymoly!!! Imagine my surprise when the postman arrived to deliver them at my Mumbai address on 13 April. Can you believe it? An amazing pair of shoes that looked just as good as they did on the website arriving in exact three days all the way from England with all the costs paid (yes, yes, yes including the custom and import duties).

These shoes are 'the perfect' addition to my shoe closet and I am absolutely loving them. They lift up even a very simple outfit.

Ordering from javari.co.uk was a piece of cake. It took barely a few minutes to order and the moment I keyed in my address, they give the final cost that includes the duties, so you exactly know how much its going to cost you. Well they sure charge a bomb for shipping to India through priority express service, £20 to be precise, but considering that these shoes were on sale I didn't mind paying the cost (it was still a bargain).

And the best part? They offer free 365-days returns. So you have one whole year to think if you want to keep them and in this period you might as well find someone who's going to UK and can return for much cheaper.

Take two
Yayyyyyyyyy I am on cloud nine. It's subtly placed in my shoe closet dying to be taken out for a stroll in fresh air.

Update: Javari has been acquired by Amazon

  7. I really enjoyed reading this article. I am actually committing Sin 2 'Waiting too lengthy to remark'! Nevertheless, I felt compelled to specific credit, since I believe many of those you enumerate are unconscious errors that may with no trouble be rectified.
